I feel like the film shows how some teachers really care for the students and how far they're willing to go so that the students may pass and be successful. Having students that are also willing to push themselves to show everyone that any kid can make it if your willing to show dedication.
Do you think Escalante may have gone too far, since he worked himself almost literally to death (by having a heart attack)?
