Into the Wild

Chris McCandless does remind me of those type of people who was disillusioned with society. In some certain ways, he felt like he didnt need money, a home to live in, or relationships to make him happy.

For an example, Krakauer does say that McCandless was an adventurer, but he had hidden some viewpoints on how Chris didnt know his environment or dangers corresponding in Alaska.

But for McCandless, he wanted to fulfill his dream to live in the wild, but for my opinion its not a great way of how Chris lived because he had different ways to live. But i feel Maybe if his parents would have gave him more attention to what he wanted he wouldn’t have left, and could have lived a happy life along society. 

Self-Assessment #1

My vision on the project is more about awareness on how drug use around kids effects them in life and looked for research to see if there was help for kids and along what to do for kids if they really are messed up. I have managed my time well due along by reading Into The Wild book which is on the side. My group and i have great communication when it comes to the project since we do want the project to be done. We all manage to find information through online, taking notes from videos and from experiences. Ive improved on focusing more on task when it comes to projects since our topic is really interesting. What i still need to learn is to find more information on our topic so i can learn more about how drug abuse effect children throughout life hood so it would be easier for me to write for the project.
