Self Assessment

Our goal for this project is to make people aware that there is no harm in same sex adoption. We plan to provide evidence from dependable source from online research , research on people who also have an interest on this topic but are also credible people and other resources like newspapers or published articles involving the topic that provides evidence of parents of the same sex who have adopted a child and their opinion. And provide evidence that the child has no effect on having two mothers or two fathers. Throughout the process of this project I learned that the many people who oppose the subject have no children themselves or have no support to their statement it´s only their personal opinion. We hope that we are trustworthy enough to show the public and these people who oppose that there is nothing wrong with same sex adoption and it does not effect the child like many people who are against same sex adoption state.

Into the Wild Chapters 1-7

In the first chapters Jim Gallien notices a young man hitchhiking four miles outside of Fairbanks, & he picks him up. The hitchhiker introduces himself as ¨Alex¨. He tells Jim that he is heading to Denali, where he plans to hike into the wilderness & live off of the land for a few months. Jim is concerned, because he notices that Alex’s pack seems awfully light all he had was" a ten pound bag of rice, a rifle"(.22 caliber) & a tattered state map. Chris McCandless or ¨Alexander Suppertramp¨ as he calls himself left his home for adventures. Chris McCandless was a young man who wanted to experience adventure & gave up everything he had to live off the land and saly died before returning to civilization. In the following chapters I've learned that McCandless has met many people who question him about his life choices & journey dream. We also read of all the trouble he went through & how he died.
