Into the Wild
Chris McCandless is a confusing young man in my opinion. He tends to say that he doesn´t need the government, that its money is tainted or anything it has to offer him, but at one point he goes and lives with this man named Wayne that he meets on his journey. He eventually does continue his journey, but after taking a break as if he wasn´t sure if thats what he wanted.

Can you explain how this shows a contradiction?
He goes to live with Wayne and eventually works for him in a grain elevator for a while. He gets money for the work he does and does that money come from? The government. He somewhat of a hypocrite He does leave Wayne at one point and continues out on his journey, but he ends writing to Wayne and mentions that its somewhat hard to live off the land since he is depending on the money that he earned. Although he does do his best to not depend on it entirely.
