Into the Wild

When i started reading Into the Wild, it did catch my attention because on how the author started his story on the day he first went to the wild instead on started when he was a kid and so on. On the second paragraph Krakauer cited that Christopher was found dead in the bus he was sleeping in. That kinda threw me off because I thought the story was going to be about Christopher and his adventure in the wild without anything but clothes and a pair of boots. After the author said that it slowly started shifting into a different story.
