"Into The Wild"

I think that the following chapters will reveal what Chris went through to get what he wanted and the sacrifices that he took through out his expedition. I really admire his determination throughout his adventure, and the self-confidence that he has in his actions. I noted that McCandless was a person that knew the consequences of this trip that he made but was nonetheless motivated to continue his journey and seek the passion he had for the outdoors. I also see that although Chris was seeking for a new life, he did suffer some consequences from his experience. In chapter 4 Chris faced several obstacles in the Mojave Desert where he was continuously challenged to his limits. In several occasions he had to face whatever came to him up front such as the long endurance that he took in canoe that resulted in failure several times to get to where he was going before he actually got there.

  1. Can you elaborate on this statement? What have you discovered from the first seven chapters?
