Into The Wild
Chris McCandless was against modern society. Chris was an educated guy who thought money wasn't needed, so end up donating all his college fund to "OXFAM" and also burning what ever money he had left. Alex doesn't love his family beside his little sister, which what made him so rebellious . MCcandless has a sense of living off the wild, which made him travel different location. Chris was aware the consequences of living off the land .In chapter 6 state "he hauled the canoe far up the beach ,climbed a sandstone bluff and set up camp to the edge of the desolated plateau he stayed there for ten days, until high winds forced him to seek refuge in a cave midway up the precipitous face of the bluff, where he remained for another ten days." This shows that Alex is devoted to his expedition and that he wont give up.
