Extra credit opportunities: "Historia de los Monteros"

My friends Romeo Guzman & Caribbean Fragoza, who are co-founders of the South El Monte Arts Posse (SEMAP), are hosting a series of events on local history.

You can earn extra credit by attending and writing (or creating another product) about the event.

For example, if you attend the film screening on January 30, you could write a blog post about the event, or draw a picture that represents your thoughts.

You could also take photographs or video of an event, interview one of the organizers, write a poem...there are many possibilities as long as your product reflects your experience at the event.

Turn in the product in class, or email it to me or share it on Google Drive at michael.weller@emuhsd.org.
