Self Assessment

My insight for our group project is still a bit unclear in my point of view. We find lots of support about our topic, I think of tiny solutions to our main issue of the project, but I feel as if I´m missing the bigger picture of the topic. I will continue researching and see if i can come to conclusion with something I find, if not i will put all the best answers I can find and blend them together with other great answers i can find.

Into The Wild

Into the Wild is meant to catch your interest in the beginning of the book so the author starts the end in the beginning. Not only does it make you question why Alex did it all, but how how he did it all like what did he do to make it Alaska. How does one person survive on just what he knows because Alex wasn't a nature specialist it just seemed like he was inspired to go to Alaska. Also seeing the people that help him show how
random people can be so caring to a stranger.

Into the Wild

Into the Wild is a very different book because of the way the story is told and how it's not in chronological order. It's very confusing at first because in the first chapter he's alive and the second he is dead. You kind of wonder what's next and then you realize that it's going in a non chronological order. I realize to fully understand the book you'll probably either have to read it twice or take notes after every chapter to really get the book and its main character Chris McCandless. This book reminds me of movies like Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, and The Usual Suspects.

FAQ Reflection

I thought that the most helpful site during the FAQ was the Pew Research and 5 Facts about College Graduates, the site showed some statistics about what is going with the college graduates. This helped me find some answers I had regarding college and jobs.

Self Assesment #1

I believe by the end of April or early May we should be done with our project about white supremacy. We have made progress but it could be better in the sense that we can use our time more effectively. I feel that we should communicate a bit more and update each other and what we have found or any suggestions for a new idea. As of now we don't have a abundance of information but we are working on it and hope to make significant progress this month.

Self-assessment / Group project : Tiger´s Wife

The purpose for my project is the spread awareness about a major issue that is taken lightly in a nation, where it should be a priority to fix. I may not be able to change the whole nation with my ideas, but I can assure that I will spark the minds of many who can come together and do so. My project is about obesity and the PowerPoint I am working on touches on topics such as cultural/traditional input, economy costs, and society's influence on social media. I have been successful at managing my time constructively and have collected plenty of information to create a presentation that will move the minds of people. My slides are decorated with plenty of pictures the audience may look at and get a better understanding of the information being demonstrated. One thing I have noticed I can improve on is actually phrasing what I want to talk about in a manner that will better suit the audience. Some ways I can improve on that are giving concrete examples my audience can refer to and use present day terms instead of others that I wouldn't have known unless I had looked them up.

Self Assessment

My vision for this project is still a little blurry. We know what we want to do it on and find plenty of information but we're still thinking on what to do with it. A powerpoint might be pretty good. We'll see. Our group works very well together so there is no doubt that we will get this done and do it well.

Self-Assessment #1

Our goal for this project is to inform people on the problem that is sexism. We hope to have a short film finished that will consist of different scenarios showing how women are oppressed on a daily basis, ranging from facing sexism at work and even at home. We're not specifically targeting a certain audience as we want everybody to be aware of this dilemma.

Self-Assessment #1

I think our group is managing it's time well we all have assigned things for groups research, typing, interviews, and drawing. We don't try to over accomplish things but we try to get as much done as we can. What sets us back at times is when we have a disagreement and we discus it for a while and that wastes some time instead of working or when people are absent but its ok we are human and stuff happens. We are working very hard on trying to put it all together and get our flyer done. We wrote down about 10 questions and asked 3 different people and have got different answers; the diversity of the answers have helped construct our flyer better.

Self-assessment #1

My group and I are pretty good on time.We prepared by getting statics on police brutality. Also we had to create verse for a song. We all have different roles in the group.WE all share the same interest of showing or educating the viewer of our topic.
