Book Group Reflection

1) The meeting went well we discussed questions we had and we also answered vocabulary words we did not know. I also had trouble with understanding what was going on in the begging of the story when Siddhartha was in nirvana ? What was the reason he left his family ?
Next week I have to catch up on my reading and add more questions and information to my post-its.
2) I learned that I gotta keep my time managed and I have to work on my book out of class.

Into the Wild

Chris McCandless was an adventurous young man who wanted to discover the real meaning of life. To some people, he was selfish and stubborn for walking out on his family. For others. McCandless was courageous and admirable for abandoning all he has ever known to live off of nature. From my perspective, McCandless was both courageous and stubborn because of the actions he committed when somebody offered help. This being because he declined help when he was in dire need. This unfortunately lead to his death, but he died doing what he wanted to do, which was live life without restrictions.

To being with, our project is going pretty good but what we need to improve as a group is that we need to focus more on how to prevent bullying more often. Our generation in my opinion is going downhill & we should put a stop to it. At this point I consider my grade right now as a B to C average since we haven't really wrote down many things about our project we have enough information but we need more time in class perhaps if not that then its the time where we procrastinate which we to stop doing but sometimes we are hectic during after school or the weekends that we can't work on it. My goal is to get back on track and do better for next class period when our teacher Mr.Weller assigns us to work on it. Once we get to it then I suggest that my group including myself will deserve a higher B or an A+.

Give info about why LGBT Rights should be supported. Also to why straight people should support every LGBT right. My goal for the day is to find why people do not support LGBT rights.
I found that the pope had meet with a gay couple who he had known for some time; one of the men knew was from meeting him in Argentina. He had been in an openly gay relationship for about 19 years. Their names were Yayo Grassi and Iwan Bagus, they had met in the vatican. The reason that this story is so important is because in catholisism it's a sin to be gay. So therefore it goes to show if the pope is ok with gays then why shouldn't people be ok with LGBT rights.

My group and I expect our project to come out nice. We hope that people will understand the message of the project. We will make a poster blog, so that people realize that racism still continues and how it is still a problem.

I believe that our group is doing well so far and for this project my vision is still not clear but it will at some point it will be. We are going to make a poster on racism. I hope people understand the message we are trying to send and this will at least have an impact in someway.

Our goal for this project is to make people see and realize how racism is still being abused by many people today, and how badly its affecting people to move on from their passed. We will be making a poster blog on canva.com. Not only can our class room look at it, but it will also be seen by the public or anyone who is interested to read about it.

By this month  my group would be watching videos of police brutality and providing multiple sources to reach our goal. We would help each other and to find as much information we can.  To make progress we would make an information pamphlet with an outline on supporting equality. we will assign each  individuality to do their work.

I have managed my time very good. I have been working on my project every time we have time to work on it. Most of my time has gone into doing research and finding facts about bullying. My next step will be to gather all my research and figure out what my group and I will go on from there.

Our goal for this project is to make people aware that there is no harm in same sex adoption. We plan to provide evidence from dependable source from online research , research on people who also have an interest on this topic but are also credible people and other resources like newspapers or published articles involving the topic that provides evidence of parents of the same sex who have adopted a child and their opinion. And provide evidence that the child has no effect on having two mothers or two fathers. Throughout the process of this project I learned that the many people who oppose the subject have no children themselves or have no support to their statement it´s only their personal opinion. We hope that we are trustworthy enough to show the public and these people who oppose that there is nothing wrong with same sex adoption and it does not effect the child like many people who are against same sex adoption state.
